Binge is a Swedish knitting tradition that originated in southern Halland in the 17th century. Since 2024, Binge has been included in Sweden’s national inventory of intangible cultural heritage. Traditional Binge patterns are geometric and highly distinctive, knitted in stranded colourwork using two colours at a time. *Binge - Knitting* brings this historic tradition into the present, combining traditional patterns with new designs and creative colour combinations. The book features around 30 knitting patterns for sweaters, coats, cardigans, slipovers, hats and more. Many of the designs are available in sizes for children, women and men, in both contemporary colour combinations and the classic Binge colours of red, blue and white. Coats hold a special place in the Binge tradition, and the book introduces a developed construction method in which they are shaped and knitted in one piece rather than knitted in separate pieces and sewn together. A celebration of Swedish knitting cultural heritage, *Binge - Knitting* combines history, traditional patterns and modern knitwear design in one richly inspiring collection.
